50 Days of Gratitude: Day 22

Today I went to a conference where I knew almost no one in the room. I’m an extrovert, but even so, this felt a little bit like being the new kid at a new school standing in the lunchroom trying to decide which table to approach.

My thanksgiving for this day, then, is for everyone who warmly welcomes others: at school, at work, at church, to the neighborhood, or to a conference. It was a delight to make new acquaintances, reconnect with those people I did already know, and feed the E in me!
